It’s never too late to learn how to dance. You’ll never be too old to learn how to dance, but if you could spend more of your time knowing how to dance wouldn’t life be just a little more fun?
It is hard finding quality time to spend on a new activity when you are trying to balance the stress of work and family. Lying down on the couch in front of the tv might sound relaxing after a long day. And we all need a little down time to recharge. That time on the couch doesn’t really recharge you. You don’t get off the couch feeling rejuvenated. Dancing does!
We see a lot of people come in to learn how to dance during their retirement years. They tell us that they’ve been thinking of learning to dance for 20 years. Can you imagine how good of dancers they would have been if they came in 20 years ago?!
Some of the students I have met come to learn to dance after their spouse passes away. Their spouse had always asked them to take dance lessons, so now they are fulfilling the promise. It is a great gesture and will help overcoming the loneliness of their loss, but could you imagine the rich memories they would have made with their spouse if they took the lessons sooner?
So get off the computer and have some fun, feel energized, learn to dance and make some memories tonight with us at Arthur Murray.
